Christmas Session Preparation Guide
Thank you so much for choosing me to capture these precious memories for you. This guide is designed to prepare you and your children for your upcoming session and to answer any questions you might have! Location
My home studio is located in Stittsville at 322 Eaglehead Crescent. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your session and wait in your vehicle until your scheduled time or you see the previous clients leaving. If I do not answer the door right away, you may enter and wait in the front entry. If you are late your session may be cut short as someone may be scheduled right after you. It is very important to arrive on time!
What to wear
I have 3 beautiful dresses available for mama in white, beige and mocha. These dresses are very stretchy (fits sizes XS-XL) and are very flattering on mamas! If you prefer to bring your own outfit I suggest wearing white/cream/beige/brown outfits for parents and siblings. Textured fabrics are great but please no strong patterns. For mom, a simple flowy dress looks fantastic, otherwise a neutral shirt or sweater with leggings works great too. For dad, a white or beige t-shirt or long sleeve shirt with brown khaki pants or blue/black jeans. If you prefer to dress your family in Christmas sweaters, or PJs I am all for that too!
For children, a simple t-shirt, sweater or dress will look great. You are welcome to use any items from my client closet for your children! Outfits vary in sizes from newborn - 7. Head over to my Instagram stories highlight "Client Closet" to see all your options!
What to expect
These sessions are meant to be fun! I will be there to direct your poses but most of your time will be interacting with your children and giving them all the cuddles and kisses. The best thing you can do is laugh, joke, sing, tickle and smile a LOT!
After the session
The remaining balance of $160 will be due the day of your session via e-transfer to hi@lisajohnsonphotography.ca
Within 2-3 weeks of your session, you will receive your full photo collection through a secure online gallery. You will be able to select your 8 photos, purchase extra photos or the whole gallery. Galleries will remain online for 2 months, and then will be removed to make room for new sessions. Please ensure you have downloaded your gallery!
