Meet Lisa
I am SO HAPPY we found each other! My passion for photography started in high school when I spent a lot of time playing around in photoshop editing myself into photos! I went to Carleton University for Interactive Media Design and I actually turned down the elective for photography - how ironic! It wasn't until after I was married (at 22!) that I started my photography business, quickly growing it to become one of Ottawa's most sought after newborn photographers.
I am so lucky to love what I do and hope my love translates itself through my work. I specialize in newborn photography because I simply love working with babies and capturing their beauty in photos. I recognize the importance of capturing new life, and all the finest details of your little one that are fleeting even in those first few weeks.
I also have a passion for maternity and family photography, and capturing your little ones as they grow. I always make sure your style and personality shine through by making a fun and comfortable environment for everyone involved. My family sessions are focused on capturing families in fun, candid and loving ways and capturing children just as they are!

I have owned my photography business since 2012, and I have photographed hundreds of newborns. Every session I have done has built my expertise in calming & posing newborns, session workflow, lighting, photography techniques, editing and customer service. I take pride in my earthy, warm and organic style that highlights the natural beauty of your new little one. My studio includes a large variety of hand selected headbands, knits, wraps, blankets & props. Not to mention the most incredible selection of dresses for mamas to wear and lots of options for children!

I am very calm, patient, fun, focused and friendly and I never ever rush a session! I love getting to know you during the session and playing with older siblings during feeding breaks!
